Dr. Knatokie Ford is the Founder & Chief Visionary Officer of Fly Futures™ and a leading voice in science storytelling, social impact, and innovative edutainment. As a biomedical scientist turned visionary strategist, she redefined Futures Alchemy—framing it as the intentional practice of using visions of tomorrow to transmute today’s challenges into liberated possibilities.

A proud HBCU graduate (Clark Atlanta University) and Harvard-trained PhD, Dr. Ford has built a career at the intersection of science, creativity, and impact. She served as a senior policy advisor in the Obama White House, where she spearheaded the “Image of STEM” project to advance equity and representation of STEM in careers and media.

Dr. Ford brings a rare fusion of scientific rigor and creative brilliance to everything she touches—from serving as science consultant on Netflix’s Emmy–winning Ada Twist, Scientist to advising on development of Eureka! on Disney Junior. She’s also co-led groundbreaking content initiatives with PBS Digital Studios (Science Storytelling with Intentionality) , YouTube (Equity and Empowerment in Learning Content), and the global SeeHer movement (#WriteHerRight Strategy Guides).
